In AYCH, design is more a process and an experience of doing than a prototype for a next start up. This is the big conversation that we had with VIDA LACTEA. AYCH is a way to engage people… The AYCH Ocean project brought together a large audience of young people over several days to both raise awareness of marine environmental issues, but also to put them on the road to action and “doing” through design. The prototypes are not industrial objects, but a way to engage towards sustainability.

In this sense, the AYCH Ocean project is one of those initiatives that anchor design in its global perspective: a process, driven by ethics and values and supported by its own methods and tools.
